Downloading System Galaxy Installation Media

This topic covers the two ways a Dealer can obtain the System Galaxy installation media (ISO or USB).

1. Download ISO Files from Galaxy Website (2-file set)

A Dealer can download the System Galaxy Install ISO files from the Galaxy website.

 

There are two ISO files -

  1. the Main.ISO

  2. the Auxiliary.ISO

 

 

  • Galaxy Software Installer ( Installer launches from the setup.exe at root of the ISO )
  • System Galaxy software bundle ( Galaxy databases, SG client software & services )
  • MS SQL Express (and Management Studio)
  • idProducer Badging Solution
  • LaunchPoint Web Client (on-premises)
  • Various Tools & Utility Apps
  • Main System Manuals ( available from Manuals page - see Install Help on the Installer splash-screen )

  • ASSA DSR
  • Card Exchange 7
  • Drivers
  • DVR Software ( copy your plugin brand to each client that needs video viewing )
  • Freebees
  • Genesis TA
  • Sagem ( Morpho / Idemia )
  • Schlage
  • StopWare ( PassagePoint )
  • System Galaxy ( discrete files include PDF Manuals - also found on SGHELP)

2. Order the Install Media on USB (Thumbdrive)

 

Contact the Galaxy Customer Support to order the full Installation on a single USB Thumbdrive.

 

 

To make a request online, do the following steps ...

  1. Click here to open the Galaxy Customer Support webpage.

  2. Click the   Contact Us     button in the middle of the page.

  3. Enter your contact information in the Order Form - including a valid phone and email.

  4. Select (check) the “Customer Service” option.

  5. In Question textbox: ask to be contacted about ordering a System Galaxy USB.

  6. Click the   Submit     button to send in your request.

  7. Alternately you can contact Galaxy Customer Service department by phone.
